Live Action Death Note!

Death Note in select theatres for two nights. NCM Fathom and Viz Pictures bring Live Action DEATH NOTE to select movie theatres nationwide for two nights only. It will be on May 20th and 21st at 7:30 pm. It includes a 20-minute feature on how the popular manga translates to live action and includes the theme song “Dani California” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The first time I've seen death note, it was as an anime series. Death Note is about a guy named Light who picked up a Shinigami (Death God) notebook, or the Death Note. Anyone whose name will be written on the notebook will die, provided that the owner of the Death Note imagines the face of the person at the same time. The owner of the notebook can specify how the person will die.

Light decides to kill the criminals to eliminate all evil in society. When authorities notice the series of unexplained deaths, they assign L, the best detective in the world who has never failed to solve any case, even the hardest ones. L works for himself and his own reasons and does not belong to any organization.

The plot is cleverly made. Light and L use strategies to reveal each other's identity and to protect themselves. This is definitely one of the movies you shouldn't miss!

That aside... What if I had power like that? I can't begin to imagine. I guess I'd prefer the power to make the world a more compassionate world. hahaha. The ability to choose who dies is just way too powerful for someone like me. Maybe invincibility or immortality doesn't sound so bad either. haha.

For more information follow the link DeathNote. You'll find information on how to purchase the tickets and on which theatres they will show in this site.
